-Ready for something to change—even if you can’t quite name what yet
Support for Ages 13-39
And all the changes, questions, and challenges in between.
Sometimes growing up in California can feel like being surrounded by possibilities while still wondering which direction is actually yours.
Maybe you’re navigating school stress, friendships, family, and figuring out who you are. Maybe you’re choosing a college, starting a career, building independence, navigating relationships, or questioning whether the path you’re on still feels right.
There can be a lot of pressure to keep up, stand out, know yourself, and know what comes next – maybe all at once.
And underneath it all, you may be wondering: Why am I overthinking everything? Am I doing enough? Where do I fit? What do I actually want?
I provide virtual therapy for teens and adults ages 13–30s throughout California who are navigating anxiety, overthinking, relationships, self-esteem, identity, stress, and major life transitions.
You don’t need to have the answers before coming to therapy.
Let’s start with where you are.
Meet Your Therapist
California holds a special place in my heart. It is where I started my adult life and became a licensed social worker. It’s where I learned how exciting and terrifying it can be to build a life while you’re still figuring yourself out.
Hi, I’m Dr. Angelica. I work with teens and adults ages 13–39 across California who are navigating anxiety, depression, relationships, identity, confidence, school or career pressure, and the many changes that can make life feel upside down.
Maybe you’re overwhelmed by school, questioning a relationship, feeling lonely, burned out, stuck, or just tired of pretending you’re fine. Maybe you’re doing everything “right” and still wondering why you don’t feel like yourself.
You don’t have to make any of that sound polished here. We can talk about the big stuff, the small stuff, whatever is weighing on your heart, and maybe the thing you haven’t said out loud yet.
I use CBT, DBT, mindfulness, creativity, and self-expression to help you feel more understood and achieve your goals.
Dr. Angelica Barron Maulucci, DSW, LCSW/LICSW, CFS
So Many Possibilities Can Create a Lot of Pressure
California has a reputation for reinvention.
There’s always another path, another opportunity, another version .
But having options doesn’t automatically create clarity.
Sometimes it creates more questions:
What if I choose wrong?
Should I be further along by now?
Do I actually want this, or am I just good at achieving it?
Where do I belong?
Who am I when I stop trying to keep up?
Therapy doesn't have to give you another standard to meet.
It can be the place where you slow down long enough to figure out what matters.
Common Themes of Growth:

You Don’t Need Another Version of Who You’re Supposed to Be
Therapy is a place to just be. Here, you don’t need to be anyone else but yourself.
Together, we’ll explore what is possible as who you already are.
