About the Facilitator

Angelica Maulucci, LCSW, LICSW, CFS

Founder + Facilitator
  • Angelica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California, and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts, with a BSW and MSW from Simmons College in Boston, and Certification of Fashion Styling from the School of Style in Manhattan. She founded GlowUp GlowTogether to provide services nationwide, after discovering that fashion and the expressive arts open the door to connection, self-discovery, and transformation—especially among youth. With almost a decade of experience as a mental health professional, her holistic lens has been the key to helping youth explore identity, and heal wounds related to body image and self-esteem.

Angelica believes in empowering youth to not only grow up but to GlowUp! Find out what GlowUp youth workshops and GlowTogether professional training can do for your school/organization.

  • Angelica believes that everyone possesses the power to heal themselves, and she is humbled and honored by the opportunity to walk alongside clients through the process. It is her priority to ensure a safe and inclusive environment, so that clients may be seen and heard as the experts on their own experiences.

Angelica is determined that her clients see and feel real progress. Though healing is often not linear, Angelica will be a cheerleader and coach through the cycles of change, co-creating attainable goals with her clients, so that they can process where they came from while also achieving where they want to be.

  • Angelica is committed to compassionate and client-centered care, using modalities such as:

Cognitive Behavioral Skills, helping clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected, so that they can begin to address patterns and make empowered change

Dialectal Behavioral Skills, which helps clients build interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance skills to face challenges with confidence and independence

Mindfulness, engaging practices on living in the moment with presence and peace

Expressive Arts, using creativity as a tool for emotional freedom and channeling the authentic self
